
Marc Agnifilo
Marc Agnifilo is a founding partner of Agnifilo Intrater LLP, a New York City law firm devoted exclusively to the representation of individuals in connection with government investigations. Mr. Agnifilo practices both internationally and domestically. He has represented high-level political and other figures in Malaysia, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, France, Italy, and other nations.
Marc has become one of the leading trial lawyers in the United States. He has tried more than 200 cases in his career, and his recent string of favorable verdicts and outright acquittals is unmatched in his area of expertise. Just in the last few years, Marc has secured favorable outcomes for Harvey Weinstein and Sean Combs, as well as acquittals for politicians charged with bribery and corruption, and health care executives, bankers, CEOs and others charged with fraud, money laundering and theft. He also secured a complete acquittal for a Swiss Banker charged in the Southern District of New York with aiding U.S. tax fraud.

Among his current engagements, he represents Luigi Mangione along with his wife Karen Friedman Agnifilo. Prior to his twenty-years in private practice, he was an Assistant United States Attorney and an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan D.A.’s office. There, he prosecuted Italian organized crime, drug cartels, transnational gangs, and became an expert in complex criminal investigations using advanced techniques and statutes, including teaching other prosecutors in the U.S. Justice Department how to effectively utilize the racketeering laws.
Marc graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in philosophy in 1986 and from Brooklyn Law School with a Doctor in Jurisprudence in 1990.
