Teny Geragos is a founding partner of Agnifilo Intrater LLP, where she defends individuals in federal and state criminal cases. A skilled cross-examiner and courtroom strategist, Teny has experience defending a broad range of matters, including bribery, securities fraud, wire fraud, tax evasion, narcotics, and FCPA violations, as well as cases with serious collateral consequences such as deportation. Teny has spent her entire career defending individuals against the government.

Teny has particular experience in defending and investigating allegations of sexual misconduct, and has represented both individuals accused of sexual assault and survivors navigating law enforcement investigations. She has tried the landmark sex trafficking cases brought in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. First, she represented NXIVM founder Keith Raniere at his 2019 trial in the Eastern District of New York, and she then served as co-lead counsel for Sean Combs in the Southern District of New York, where he was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. She has also represented clients in high-profile sexual assault cases, including Harvey Weinstein in his rape retrial in Manhattan Supreme Court, where the jury voted 9-3 to acquit and the court declared a mistrial.
